Semen Vyuchny, 18

I am Vyuchny Semen, I am 18 and I have diabetes mellitus type 1 for 17 years.

I had problems related to the decompensation of blood sugar since I had not enough strips for blood glucose monitor and used insulin pens. But I was lucky to meet the people who were ready to help me. St. Luke of Crimea Charitable Foundation bought me insulin pump, accessories and supplies for it and test stripes. When the pump was installed my life became more simple and joyful, the sugar level became normal, and when a problem happens, my pump “tells” me about problems. Due to the support I found enough strength and health to enter the First I.M.Sechenov Moscow State Medical University and now I am a very good student. I want to become a doctor to help people!
