Radmir Tatybaev, 20

Diagnosis: cystic fibrosis, severe acute flow, recurrent relapses

I was born on May 10, 1996 in town Raduzhny, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. Now I live in Ufa, the Republic of Bashkortostan. I finished my school study and now I am a 2nd-year student of Bashkirsky State University, Department of Business Security Management, majoring in Public Management. I was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when I was 2-3 months. From my childhood I was a patient of RDKB in Moscow, when I was 18 I became a patient of Research Institute of Pulmonology. Up to 18 I took antibiotic treatment twice a year, now I need it once in 3 months.

When my disease relapses and my condition worsens I have shortness of breath, fever exceeding 38 degrees – and don’t falls, and a lot of phlegm. I sent to the Public Prosecution Office the application that I need the life-saving medication, Meronem. They dismissed my application because the state contract tender provides to the patients only generics. What can I do? My life depends on the possibility to take courses of Meronem several times a year, and I can’t afford buying it myself since it is very expensive.

And I want to express my gratitude for the help in purchase of the medication, Meronem, to the St. Luke Foundation, to President of the Foundation, Markov Oleg Viktorovich, and to wish success in their hard work, to wish fruitful and quick donation campaigns, more saved lives, and prosperity to the Foundation itself! And first of all – health and happiness to the charity doers and donators of the Foundation!

Sincerely yours, Radmir Tatlybaev
