I was born and live in Tver. I have a higher education, I graduated from Tver Branch of Saint-Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economics, majoring in economics and management of the health care enterprises. From 2009 to 2013 I worked at the college as a teacher of pharmacognosy. I live with my parents, they are doctors. I am registered as a disabled person with 2nd disability group, now I don’t work because of my disease.
I was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when I was 3, at Russian Children’s Clinical Hospital (RDKB). First I had to stay at the hospital each 3 months, now almost each half a year I have a relapse of the disease and I need intravenous antibiotic treatment. My health condition worsens – I have fever, weakness, I am short of breath and can’t breathe. Doctors tried many different antibiotics but they didn’t helped and were of absolutely no use. My severe disease can be conquered only with Meronem, but such medication is not provided by the state free, and it is very expensive and I can not afford it. The most difficult is a period when I have a relapse and wait for long days and weeks – I had to take Meronem, but I have no opportunity to have the medication. And it is really precious for me if I have a possibility to take Meronem treatment in due time.
I want to thank all the donators of the Charitable Foundation and I am very thankful for their help, for generosity and kind hearts!
Your help gives us hope!
I want to express my sincere gratitude and heartily thankfulness for your empathy and timely financial support in purchase of the medication that is vital for me.
I wish to the President of the Foundation, Markov Oleg Viktorovich, and to all the staff members of St. Luke Charitable Foundation health, prosperity and success in their noble work!
Sincerely yours,
Strelnikov Dmitriy
